If you have AppleCare+ for this product, AppleCare+ includes battery service coverage, which means your battery can be replaced at no charge if we test your product and its battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity.
AppleCare+ also provides coverage for accidental damage from handling, and each incident is subject to a service fee as listed.
Important note about AppleCare+ iPhone repairs.
AppleCare+ provides coverage for up to two incidents of accidental damage. Each incident claim will incur a service fee as outlined in the table below. This fee is payable when your device is booked in for repair.
Important note about out-of-warranty iPhone repairs.
A $49 Service Fee applies to all out-of-warranty iPhone repair services. This is payable when the device is booked-in for assessment. The $49 Service fee will be deducted from the total repair cost if you choose to proceed with the iPhone repair. If your iPhone is being booked in for a screen replacement, the whole price of that service is payable upfront.
