Geekworks began in 2007, starting out as a service and support provider for companies of all sizes—from small businesses to Fortune 500s, as well as consumers.

In 2009, Geekworks moved from its original offices and opened its spacious showroom.
Since opening, locally owned and independently minded Geekworks has provided first-rate sales, service, and support to Mac lovers in the greater Brisbane area. This includes both businesses and individuals.

The Melbourne Cup – 1st Tuesday in November - is Australia's major Thoroughbred horse race. Billed as The race that stops a nation, it is a race for three-year-olds and over, over a distance of 3,200 metres. It is the richest and most prestigious "two-mile" handicap in the world, and one of the richest turf races in the world. The event is held at around 3 pm on the first Tuesday in November by the Victoria Racing Club, on the Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne.
